About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training support.

Duties

Supervise Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) who interface with one or more vendors providing major services to the depot. Ensure assigned CORs are interfacing on commercial service partnership contracts, coordinating meetings, and working sessions with AMCOM, CCAD and Vendors on material or delivery issues. Ensure effective surveillance of the contracts for compliance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and initiates changes in surveillance methods. Monitor CORs and Government Purchase Card (GPC) Purchasers contract file system from development, pre-award, post-award, and termination or closure. Enforce timely reviews of contractor invoices, and reviewing the government's agreements or non-agreements with the contractor's progress reports and cost vouchers. Set priorities, evaluate performance, give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. Hear and resolve complaints from employees and effect disciplinary measures, as necessary.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Financial Disclosure OGE 450 upon entry and annually thereafter.
  • Critical Acquisition written service agreement.
  • Acquisition certification, Engineering and Technical Mangement, Practitioner, within 5 years of job entry.
  • One-year supervisory probation period.
