Duties
You will monitor and conduct independent assessments and analysis of the CMC SWS schedules for both the U.S. and UK, in direct support of design, production and installation/test efforts as they relate to U.S. CLB/UKD platforms.
You will coordinate, engage and participate in Design-Build-Sustain, Design Development, and Focus Teams, Workshops, Technical Interchanges, SWS Subsystem Reviews, Technical Director's Reviews and technical, safety, cost and risk reviews/teams.
You will develop and maintain, coordinate, track and status accounting of the CMC SWS Integrated Master Schedule, Strategic Programs Official Schedule Estimate and UK Joint Programme Requirements document.
You will provide continual oversight and analysis of ship design and construction activities (both U.S. and UK) and to correlate this data with U.S. and UK Program of Record Schedules to identify and resolve conflicts, discrepancies and shortcomings.
You will continually analyze the PMS397 CMC Integrated Master Schedule, UK JPR, SPOSE and SSP Branch schedules to identify conflicts, discrepancies and shortcomings and interacts with all organization for resolution.
You will interface with the SP10 organization for the development and upkeep of the COLUMBIA Section of the SPOSE and interacts with the SSP Branches to identify conflicts, discrepancies and shortcomings as well as resolutions.
You will provide overall schedule coordination regarding the planning, development, execution and reporting for CMC SWS development, production, installation and testing required for the execution of SWS SSP Alterations
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience with the DON acquisition principles including the planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of financial resources for complex programs ideally for submarine or naval ship programs.
