You will serve as a Supervisory Procurement Analyst in the Contracts Department of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Duties
You will assign work to junior employees based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, or the capabilities of employees.
You will review proposed contractual actions for conformance with regulatory requirements and user requirements.
You will conduct training to improve simplified acquisition practices.
You will provide contract compliance and oversight support on contracts that directly support the Marine Corps and other Government agencies
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce position that requires a Contracting Professional acquisition certification. The incumbent has 36 months to earn this certification.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: provides contract compliance and oversight support on contracts that directly support the Marine Corps and other Government agencies through various contracts such as Storage Command Class II Solutions, Storage Command Class VII Solution, Storage Command Business Solutions, Secondary Reparable Logistics Integration Support, and Distribution Management Support Services. Ensures work conforms to statutes, regulations, policies, and procedures and is completed within established timeframes.

NOTE: The education requirements listed above apply only to individuals entering DoD 1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000. Current civilian personnel in DoD, who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000, are exempt from meeting this requirement. Current military members who occupied a similar occupational specialty to the GS-1102 on or before September 30, 2000, and members of the Contingency Contracting Force are also exempt from meeting this requirement.
