You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the CNIC HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICES (HRO) of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.
Duties
You will respond to customer inquiries by researching human resources rules or regulations.
You will maintain a labor relations database to prepare recurring and ad hoc reports.
You will advise managers on basic employee relations questions (e.g., employee indebtedness, leave administration, injury compensation).
You will Prepare correspondence based on research of human resources regulations, guides, and precedents.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provide advisory services to employees and management on employee relations processes and procedures; 2) Entering and correcting human resources data within automated systems; 3) resolve civilian human resources issues; and 4) assist employee relations specialist with disciplinary action documents/reports. NOTE: Experience must be fully supported in your resume to be considered for this position.
GS-05: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Extracting and entering data into automated database systems; 2) Reviewing employee relations documents for completeness and compliance with established guidelines, and 3) Providing assistance to employee relations specialist by preparing documents and correspondence.
