You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in the Operations Directorate of NAVY INFO OPERATIONS CMD GEORGIA. The Agency location is Fort Eisenhower, GA.
All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will manage the Command Intelligence Oversight Program for assigned military analyst/linguist in executing daily operational/mission support related responsibilities.
You will identify intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps, provide new methodologies and techniques for collection applications to eliminate gaps, and evaluate intelligence collected response to collection requirements.
You will implement and enforce auditing procedures and report discrepancies.
You will make independent decisions based on interpretation of existing policies, regulations, and standards.
You will build and utilize collaborative networks with key contacts within and with external organizations to satisfy customer requirements.
You will prepare Global analysis to present findings in a persuasive manner.
You will represent the department on panels and committees.
You will review intelligence products prepared by other government agencies or other elements for technical accuracy and interpretation.
You will make recommended solutions including changes and modifications to higher level authorities.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.

- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-Year DCIPS trial period.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Apply extensive knowledge of intelligence collection methods and systems, and appropriate tasking methods; 2) Identify intelligence gaps, specify collection requirements to fill gaps; 3) Provide new methodologies and techniques for collection applications to eliminate gaps; 4) Training and mentoring workforce; 5) Make decisions based on the interpretations of policies, regulations and practices; 6) Initiate actins or set precedents that affect various elements within the activity; 7) Build and utilize collaborative networks with key contacts within and with external organizations.
