About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US Cyber Center of Excellence, Fort Eisenhower, GA.
Duties
Recommend policies concerning shipment, relocation, and movement of equipment to meet all training requirements within the organization.
Evaluate hand receipt authorizations for correctness.
Maintain the document register to ensure all authorized equipment is either on hand or on requisition.
Search different areas of databases to extract information to resolve discrepancies.
Document all transactions in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a government operator’s permit.
- Must be a qualified typist. This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
- Must be able to obtain and retain an installation network enterprise user account.
- Must be able to obtain a GCSS-A supply tech account within 30 days of employment.
- Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 5 percent of the time.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles (a copy of your Driver's License will be requested upon selection).

This position is in the Technician/Administrative Support Work Category at the Entry/Developmental Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1) determining the cause(s) of inventory discrepancies; 2) maintaining inventory records of property for the organization serviced; 3) performing a combination of tasks concerned with the receipt, storage, issues, and/or replenishment of a wide variety of supplies, forms, and publications.

Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
