The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the principal office assistant performing various clerical and administrative duties in support to the division.
Duties
Prepares a wide variety of correspondence, reports, and other duties.
Reviews and finalizes correspondence/documents for grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and format.
Establishes, maintains, purges, and disposes of various office records/files in accordance with regulations and procedures that assist in the efficient operation of the office.
Prepares, consolidates, submits and maintains time and attendance records in accordance with procedures.
Maintains supervisors calendars, coordinates meeting arrangements, and schedules meetings and or conferences in accordance with the supervisors policies and priorities.

Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions.
To qualify for this position, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DU-01 (GS-4) broadband. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.

TEAMWORK AND LEADERSHIP: Contributes as a member of the team performing substantive clerical/assistant/support duties in support of the organizational mission.
