You will serve as an Operations Officer responsible for developing, planning, supporting, and providing guidance, assistance, and oversight on administrative functions, programs, projects, and activities. You will support the management of day-to-day administrative activities of senior leadership within the Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA) executive staff office. This position is located at NAVAL INTELLIGENCE ACTIVITY, Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia.
Duties
You will manage staffing packages for Naval Intelligence Activity (NIA) executive staff as well as packages going outside Navy staff.
You will track packages through the “Cycle of a Memo”, monitoring the process and ensuring packages continue forward progression.
You will manage Naval Intelligence tasks across three networks’ tasking systems which include processing, validating, forwarding, reconciling, and disseminating tasks, requirements, and responses.
You will manage the Government Purchase Card program and execute Government Purchase Cardholder duties.
You will support the staff executive assistant to ensure no gaps occur in the administrative operations of Naval Intelligence Activity’s (NIA) front office.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a two-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Analyze and evaluate operational procedures and requirements for organizational efficiency and productivity of administrative program operations and management and identify policy or process issues;
Manage, review, and track staffing packages to ensure they adhere to organizational guidelines and to confirm where the lines of authority lay in order to determine the correct authorizer;
Prepare correspondence, reports, briefings, and instructions or other documents related to self-directed work assignments or activities.
