This BUDGET ANALYST is located at ARNG State Headquarters, Construction and Facility Management Office (CFMO), Resource Management Branch or Army Aviation Classification Repair Depot (AVCRAD) and is part of the CA 1106 TASMG.

Duties

THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the BUDGET ANALYST, GS-0560-9, is to perform routine budget analysis functions in assigned areas. Work may be performed in any segment of the normal range of budget administration work performed by the organization including budget formulation, budget presentation-enactment, or budget execution. Duties typically performed include the following: assisting in the preparation of budget estimates and justifications; interpreting OMB directives and circulars; providing information and advice to program managers; reviewing bureau and office budget submissions for reasonableness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and guidelines; monitoring budget; recommending reprogramming of funds as needed.

BUDGET ANALYST, GS-0560-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Experience performing moderately difficult and complex assignments consisting of well-precedented tasks; Experience independently planning and carrying out successive steps and handling problems and deviations in work assignments in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted practices; Experience applying principles, concepts, and theories of budgeting; Experience performing studies and preparing reports, documentation, and correspondence to communicate factual and procedural information clearly Your resume must have complete information: Please ensure your resume accurately reflects the duties and responsibilities under each position you have held with each employer. Education

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: An undergraduate degree and/or a post graduate degree from an accredited college/university in National Guard Finance or Combination of the following required disciplines: Accounting, business, finance, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organizational management that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work required.
