The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence.
Duties
Serve on the Executive Secretariat of the National Intelligence Analysis Board. Identify topics for meetings and manage scheduling, agenda, invitations, and follow-up, including summaries of conclusions and due-outs.
Oversee, guide, and monitor the governance structures to ensure decisions are made through the appropriate fora and disputes are resolved expeditiously.
Lead Analysis Group's outreach to analytic programs, including regular meetings and communications at a senior level to gauge elements' analytic needs and areas for potential collaboration.
Provide effective briefings to senior internal and external customers on the analytical content of complex intelligence products and the development of future analytical tools and methodologies.
Work with colleagues to shape and implement the analytic consumer interview program to gain policymakers' and warfighters' perspectives on how well IC analytic products meet ICD 203 standards and fulfill their analytic needs.
Support briefings to senior IC officials and other major stakeholders collaboration progress, issues and challenges.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the United States
- Appointment is subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI)
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- A two-year trial period is required for all new permanent appointments to the ODNI.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead interagency working groups and build coalitions with IC elements to achieve common goals.
Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills, including the superior ability to think strategically, identify needs and requirements, develop recommendations, and evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives.
Demonstrated ability to present sensitive, controversial, statistical, and other information in briefings or written products and communicate effectively with senior executives and other customers.
Demonstrated ability to manage strategic and tactical level topics, and develop innovative recommendations and solutions for improvement.
Demonstrated situational judgment and superior interpersonal, negotiating, and networking skills to work collaboratively and build strong team relationships across organizational boundaries.
Substantial experience working as an analyst or tradecraft specialist in the IC and thorough understanding of the IC analytic community.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as determined by mission specialty area.
Desired Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of ICD 203 Analytic Standards with experience evaluating analytic products against those standards.
Extensive attention to detail in planning and execution, and in writing and reviewing products.
Experience working with the National Intelligence Analysis Board or one of its sub-committees.
Contracting Officer Technical Representative level 1 Certification.
Education
Bachelors' Degree.
