You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the PAC FLT TEST & OPR ASSESSMENT DIV within the TEST AND EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13, Step 10; currently $140,155.
Duties
You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for testing of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems on board submarines, aircraft and surface ships.
You will perform analysis of technical radio frequency emissions, Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC), Tactical Data Links (TDL), and EW systems, and provide proposed technical solutions.
You will develop new/enhanced capabilities to test EW and TDL systems across various platforms utilized by Joint Forces.
You will install, maintain, and repair workstations, TDLs, and networks for systems tested and operated at the Fleet Test and Evaluation Center (FTEC).
You will perform general project management skills to plan, organize, and manage complex technical operations, business and financial execution,
workload and staffing, and delegating work.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying technical electronics techniques to test and troubleshoot electronic warfare systems. Examples of qualifying experience may include practical experience and a working knowledge of Shipboard Electronics System Evaluation Facility (SESEF) and Fleet Test and Evaluation Center (FTEC) systems; knowledge of Live, Virtual Constructive concepts, Fleet communications and Electromagnetic Warfare principles; familiarity with SESEF and FTEC circuits; knowledge of SESEF and FTEC customers; knowledge of command and sponsor reporting requirements; and ability to work well with others and communicate in a clear and concise manner orally and in written form.
