About the Position: This position is located in the HQ Northwestern Division - Readiness & Contingency Operations Division.

Duties

Serves as USACE Roofing Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Program Manager on the respective internal and interagency Roofing related Project Delivery Teams (PDTs). Investigates new technologies to enhance the Roofing mission capabilities and execution. Oversees and supervises all Temporary Roofing SMEs initially deployed to the FEMA Initial Operations Facility (IOF) in support of a Temporary Roofing Mission. Serves as the Point of Contact (POC) for maintenance of ENGLink portal for the Roofing mission including Roofing PRT readiness indicators and posting of electronic documents in support of the Roofing mission.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Employee may be required to perform TDY away from home station, which may include overnight travel, with short notice and for extended periods.
  • Employee is required to remain accessible during duty and non-duty hours via telephonic communications systems to respond to emergency operation activities.
  • Employee may be required to work in austere conditions.
  • Travel during natural disasters may be subject to hazards.
  • TDY may be up to 25%.
