You will serve as a PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT REPRESENTATIVE (ELECTRIC) in the FMFS branch of a Facilities Engineering and Acquisition (FEAD), within the Public Works Department of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII.

Duties

You will conduct follow up assessment to ensure deficiency corrections have been applied. You will create reports to document cost estimates, customer requirements, work scheduling, or tracking of work in progress. You will establish contract surveillance inspection schedules based upon contract requirements. You will prepare quality assurance plans or performance assessment plans to ensure adequacy of material and equipment specifications.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
  • Incumbent shall comply with all required training in the BMS.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing input for preparing detailed performance assessment plans and assessment schedules for facility services provided by a contractor; 2) Assisting with conducting and documenting on-site evaluations of facility support contracts to assure contractor's compliance with specifications; And 3) Providing support in resolving customer complaints by further investigating and documenting the deficiencies or contractor's violations.
