This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Department of Defense Protection Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, Joint Staff, J1, Manpower and Personnel Direcorate.
Duties
Analyze and synthesize data in multiple formats gathered from national guard bureau Manpower and Personnel violence prevention and people programs, internal, and external stakeholders.
Coordinate across Manpower and Personnel violence prevention and people programs to develop, review, and recommend requirements necessary to implement related policies, respond to inquiries, and advises senior leaders on the status of these programs.
Plan, organize, and conduct briefings at different levels.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes evaluate and identify problems or opportunities for enhancement in People programs and policies related to prevention topics such as Sexual Assault and Suicide prevention across the organization, 54 states, territories, and DC; support the agency by recommending strategic solutions and potential course of action focused across all people programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-13 or equivalent).
