About the Position: Serve as the installation's Emergency Manager with additional responsibility for management of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) operations.
Duties
Reviews all documents developed providing guidance and instructions for natural disaster and force protection incidents.
Manages the installation readiness program and develops/maintain installation all-hazard emergency management plan, supporting annexes, and instructions.
Develops and maintains various contingency plans; and maintains the Installations all-hazard emergency response plan.
Performs periodic surveys of emergency preparedness activities to evaluate both accuracy and content while comparing them to other activities throughout the command.
Ensures operational checks on the equipment in the EOC are performed; and ensure the program software or hardware is operational.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position has been identified as a key position, which may be subject to recall during natural disasters, National emergencies, or other exigencies.
