About the Position: This position is with Dir of Exec Quality Management located at Tripler Army Medical Center, which is on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.

Duties

Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the hospital's credentialing and privileging program for all physician and non physician Health Care Provider's (HCP). Prepare provider profiles and enters required information concerning education, training, licensure, performance, and other pertinent required data into the hospitals Centralized Credentialing. Prepare various reports on licensure status. Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties in support of the hospital's credentialing.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights
• Appointees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk, regardless of job series.
• This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations. The appointee is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.
• In accordance with AR 690-11, this position has been designated as "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the capability of the organization to function effectively
