About the Position: The Medical Record Supervisor serves as the Record Custodian for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF). This position the incumbent is responsible for all record management and transcription contract operations.

Duties
Provide direct supervision for civilian and military employees in the Records Management Division.
Manage workflow to avoid backlogs and record processing meet guidelines.
Perform analysis and status reviews of the Outpatient Record Section.
Determine that record content meets military and other regulatory criteria.
Provide advice to Command management on medical record requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes supervising a team in a medical office; ensure compliance with medical records procedures, methods, and requirements to perform medical records assignments; review medical records for accuracy and completeness; and adhere to procedures, rules, operations workflow to process medical records. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
