About the Position: This position is located at the National Guard Bureau ARNG Support Activity, INST/LOG/ENV Training Center, Camp J.T Robinson, Arkansas.
About the Surrounding Area: Camp Robinson is home to the Professional Education Center (PEC) and its 75-acre campus consisting of 25 buildings and a total staff of approximately 420 military, civilian contractor personnel. We annually provide instruction to over 20,000 members of the military force.
Duties
Work with training developers to update and revise lesson plans to reflect new developments in the field
Conduct classroom instruction via resident/on-site and distance learning modalities.
Use a variety of training methods and automated logistics systems to provide training and instructions to students
Responsible for implementation, evaluation and making recommendations for revisions of logistics training courses

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes teaching or instructing in a classroom with emphasis in transportation which may include one or more of the following areas: National Defense Movement Operations, State Movement Control Center Operations, Military Traffic Management, Military Convoy Operations, Unit Equipment Mobility and Deployment Operations, Development of Unit Deployment Listings (UDL) and Equipment Deployment Listings (EDL), and Commercial Transportation Office Operations; assisting in updating or evaluating training/course materials and training aids in the area of logistics.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. [remove LL.M., if unrelated] in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: [insert applicable field(s) of study].

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
