Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As an Executive Assistant, you will use your knowledge of and experience with serving as a liaison for an organization and managing various program and administrative tasks for senior leadership to optimize business results and customer experience by:
Ensuring organizational programs, priorities, administrative practices and procedures are consistent, efficient, and supportive of management objectives.
Establishing administrative processes and recommending changes to procedures impacting relationships internal and external to the organization.
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholder concerning responses to all incoming action items which impact Headquarters and Field Offices; reviews incoming correspondence, administrative project directives, and procedural changes, and assigns suspense dates to appropriate staff as well as provides guidance on standards of completion to meet all assignment requirements.
Informing staff of new or revised administrative processes and related procedures; following up to ensure prompt and timely implementation; performing a wide variety of continuing or and special assignments of a confidential or sensitive nature for senior leadership as well as affecting organizational operations.
Assisting the senior leadership regarding disposition of grievances and communicating management's position with regard to contract administration; attending meetings, briefings, and conferences as appropriate on matters relating to senior leadership activities, actions, and programs
Preparing charts, graphics, and tabular presentations of data; coordinating, compiling, and analyzing statistical information; researching and defending program issues and preparing analysis and position papers for use by senior leadership during meetings.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: GS-11: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service performing ALL of the duties below.
Providing administrative support to a Director and/ or senior leadership within a civil rights organization.
Assisting with the evaluation of administrative policies or procedures in the development and/or execution of changes of administrative operations;
Drafting information in a variety of formats (such as narratives, correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, briefings, meeting notes, etc.
OR
have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (e.g.,LL.M)
OR
have successfully completed three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree at an accredited college or university in a field that provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work for this position.
Minimum Qualifications: GS-12: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service performing ALL of the duties below:
Served as liaison or office point of contact in support of a Director or senior staff within an office of civil rights;
Managing sensitive and confidential documents and reports to obtain approval from necessary senior leadership;
Reviewing various materials (for example correspondence, approval packages, assessments etc.) for complete content, factual accuracy, formatting, grammar and spelling;
Briefing senior leadership and participants prior to and during meetings. and
Assisting in the development of office operational guidance, procedures, and automated administrative solutions.
