About the Position: Serve as the Budget Analyst (Operations) for the Joint Counter Small-Unmanned Aircraft System Office (JCO) under the supervision of the JCO Operations Section Chief in the JCO Resource Management Division.
Duties
Responsible for providing financial analysis for all JCO support budget and logistic programs including all phases of program planning and analysis for Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA).
Advise the JCO Resource Manager and JCO Leadership, on policies and controls for the obligation and expenditure of OMA funds.
Major functions include financial management and reporting; budget formation support; Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE); and budget controls.
Analyze force structure requirements, organization and functions, and the management and documentation of the manpower and equipment authorization programs.
Provide procurement and acquisition management oversight which includes contract administration and contract management.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reviewing, editing, and consolidating annual and multi-year budget estimates; preparing justifications and projected funding needs; analyzing trends in the expenditure of funds to ensure that objectives of the annual financial plan are being met; ensuring that funds are available and being properly and effectively used to support program objectives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
