You will serve as a LIBRARIAN TECHNICIAN in the OFFICE OF THE SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC OPERATIONS, JAMES A. ZIMBLE LEARING RESOURCE CENTER'S (LRC) TECHNICAL SERIVICES DIVISION of UNIF SRVS UNI OF THE HLTH SCI.
Duties
You will serve as a library technician responsible for providing technical and clerical support to the Technical Services Division.
You will maintain the library's physical book and journal stacks, ensuring materials are neat, in order and readily accessible for patron use.
You will support USU manuscript clearance workflows to review materials for completeness and accuracy, generate metadata, and review and make edits to ensure the accuracy of descriptors.
You will assist patrons with library-related inquires at the circulation desk following training and using specialized library software as required.
You will resolve problems with availability, circulation status, barcode, or call number as encountered.
You will monitor and respond to digitization requests from the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Department, Archives Department, direct patron requests (via email, telephone, the library website), and the supervisor.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing clerical and technical library duties to provide customer service and resolve problems for an organization.
