About the Position: This position provides installation/activity information, referral, advocacy, and follow-up assistance with responsibility for maintaining and providing comprehensive information regarding installation and civilian community resources and services to Soldiers and their families.

Duties

Establish and maintain a comprehensive and automated file of information on area public, private, and voluntary service organizations. Serve as the point of contact for the community for information and referral services located on the installation and for private and government referral services; local, state, and federal agencies. Perform administrative activities for the Community Service Council (CSC); updating and maintaining the CSC database, notifying members of upcoming meetings, maintaining sign-in rosters, coordinating various speakers/topics, and developing agenda. Interview clients to assess the type of assistance required and provide information about community service systems, agency policies, and application procedures.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field directly related to the work of the position, such as, Human Services, Social and Community Services, Organizational and Social Services or Public Administration. OR ???????Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages.
