About the Position: This position is located in Fort Jackson, Richland, South Carolina.
Duties
Follow up on actions and briefs the status to the Chief, Department of Radiology.
Receive, read, sort and route incoming and outgoing official mail and messages.
Distribute information and file copies and clear mail control records.
Ensure departmental time cards are prepared correctly and all required documentation is attached prior to submitting to activity payroll technician.
Take care of routine matters and on the basis of knowledge of the organization's programs and functions.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing administrative support duties, scheduling appointments, utilizing office automated systems, and preparing documents such as correspondence, reports, and/or memorandums.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
