Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-11 level, you must have one of the following:
1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level defined as participating in projects and/or studies to assist with strategic communication planning for program and/or web-based functions; serving as technical/project support on a team; and working with and/or maintaining program and web areas.
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related; the education must provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position
equivalent combination of education and experience
To qualify for the GS-12 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level defined as conducting projects and/or studies with strategic communication planning for program and/or web-based functions; serving as technical/project support on a team; carrying out special projects to assess the effectiveness of various communication methods; and maintaining program and web areas.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Skill in web management and/or content.
Ability to provide support to web users and office staff.
Knowledge of Office365 applications.
Skill in oral communication.
Ability to act as a representative in different Councils.
Ability to communicate strategic plans and projects to office staff.
Ability to perform long-range and short-range program planning and strategy development at an Office level which takes into consideration Office policies, plans, and status of ongoing Office-wide programs.
Skill in oral communication.
