As an Accountant, you will support branch and division customer service programs and resolve customer requests, issues, and problems.
Location of position: General Services Administration, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Kansas City, MO

As an Accountant, you will perform the following duties:

- Meet time-in-grade within 30 days of the closing date, if applicable

The GS-12 salary range starts at $88,324 per year.Basic Requirements: You must have either A or B, or C:A. Degree in accounting.B. Degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting. The 24 hours may include up to 6 hours of credit in business lawC. A combination of college level education and experience.Refer to OPM’s Accounting Qualification Standard for more information.In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing analyses of high volume automated accounting system which included complex processing routines.
