Duties

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Performs administrative evaluation and program analysis for a variety of highly complex projects and staff operations for the West Coast Region in the oversight and coordination of division activities. Designs, conducts, and directs comprehensive studies and special projects to identify & propose expert solutions to complex management, administrative and operational issues. Communicates and collaborates with leadership across the Region and NOAA Fisheries as needed, including other line offices and NOAA headquarters, on issues relating to the sustainable fisheries, protected resources, and habitat conservation programs and operations of the Region.

Specialized experience MUST include all of the following: Performs analysis, conducts evaluations, or advises management on program or operations effectiveness; Develops, recommends, or implements policies that lead directly to the accomplishment of major programs; and Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders on fishery or conservation management programs to develop policy position or plans.
