Duties
Participates in Division efforts related to health, nutrition, and wellness, as well as participating in committees, events, and special programs sponsored.
Monitors approved contractual agreements and contractor activities with the Program Manager to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with the terms and conditions of Use Agreements.
Serves as the representative in the planning and coordination of facility renovations between ORS and the contractors.
Reviews and recommends action on requisitions for commercial kitchen equipment, furniture, supplies, and other materials to be provided to the contractors in order to support quality program activities and delivery.
Participates in the preparation of reports, plans, and other documents using information generated from various NIH databases, and those developed by the incumbent.
Reviews feedback received from employees, contractors, and other sources of information addressing the quality of services provided.
Recommends appropriate changes in existing policies, methods, procedures, and practices designed to enhance the quality, effectiveness, and responsiveness of the services provided.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Program Analyst, GS-0343 position at the GS-11 level, you must have:
A. Completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.M., if related.
OR
B. 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: serving as a program specialist for a food and retail services program; participating in administering food and retail service program contracts; assessing compliance of food and retail service programs with applicable rules and regulations; preparing reports or other documents on food and retail program services and operations; and coordinating and communication information relative to food and retail service program activities with others.
OR
C. Have a combination of post baccalaureate education and experience that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.
To qualify for a Program Analyst, GS-0343 position at the GS-12 level, you must have:1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: managing food and retail program services for an organization; administering food and retail service program contracts; assessing compliance of food and retail service programs with applicable rules and regulations; preparing reports and other written communications related to food and retail service program operations; and coordinating food and retail program services with management officials, program staff, and customers.
