You will serve as a SECRETARY (OA) in theNAVAL WAR COLLEGE.
Duties
You will maintain and prioritize calendars based on mission requirements and knowledge of priorities.
You will receive incoming telephone and in person calls, determine the nature of the call, and refer as appropriate.
You will provide and coordinate office support and manage the day-to-day office operations.
You will compose correspondence of a routine and nontechnical nature based on oral instructions, brief notes, and/or information available in office files and records.
You will use word processing, spreadsheets, and graphic desktop software to create, edit, and manipulate correspondence, reports and briefings.
You will act as liaison for travelers by making travel arrangements, preparing travel orders, and completing travel vouchers.
Requirements

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Providing general administrative office duties; 2) Utilizing office automation software to generate, prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, forms, or reports; 3) Arranging domestic and/or international travel, such as schedule transportation, reserve lodging, and prepare travel orders in accordance with travel regulations; and 4) Maintaining an office calendar, scheduling appointments, and preparing itineraries.
