Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, in New York, New York, Seattle, Washington, and Spring, Texas.
These are non-bargaining unit positions.
Duties
As a Supervisory Program Specialist (Chief Strategy Officer), you will perform the following duties:
Advise the field office managers and other managers on all DHS, ICE, and/or HSI key support processes.
Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, to include other federal agencies, Congressional representatives, and private sector entities.
Ensure the integrity of all processes through a management control review program.
Serve as the Financial Officer for an area of responsibility on the execution of financial processes.
Provide a full range of supervisory functions for a staff that provides a diverse range of mission support services.

- Probationary Period: This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). Upon appointment to this position, you may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- You will be required to sign a mobility agreement. You may be reassigned to a new location during your career as a as a Supervisory Program Specialist (Chief Strategy Officer) based on the needs of the Agency.

You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as:
Overseeing the planning, direction, and timely execution of an administrative program or several administrative program segments.
Directing a staff of administrative, technical and contract personnel in carrying out a variety of management support operations.
Establishing and maintaining liaison with other programs and administrative support staff.
Managing the staffing, hiring, and other support functions within an area of responsibility.
