This incumbent will serve as an Intelligence Analyst assigned to the Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) Targeting Analysis Team (DTAT) within the Identities, Targeting, and Exploitation Center (ITE), DHS Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A).
Duties
In this capacity, the incumbent will research and analyze DOMEX data in DHS holdings, research and compose intelligence products based on the analysis of DOMEX data, manage and respond to requirements against data in DHS holding to maximize production, liaise with intelligence community and law enforcement partners, and perform other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to hold a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) and is covered by the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters Drug-Free Workplace Program.
- Overtime may be required in response to a significant event.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
To qualify for the maximum GS 13 level, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Other grade offers will be dependent upon relevant education and experience as assessed.
Mastery of and skilled in applying targeting methodologies in a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, dissemination applications and methodologies that includes the evaluation of many diverse sources of information utilizing multiple intelligence information systems in order to drive intelligence output and dissemination.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of the operations of DHS I&A and related legal issues. Knowledge of US intelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases, and requirements to target analysis, and other intelligence collection methodologies to enable targeting activities.
Advanced knowledge of DHS and IC intelligence principles and regulations and has strong verbal and written communication and data analysis skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas to formulate and present findings/briefings, maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers, effectively train others in full performance of the job, and effectively plan functional team activities to accomplish set goals and objectives.
To Qualify for the GS-12 Level, you must possess at Least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal Service. For this level, specialized experience is defined as:

Knowledge of the operations of DHS I&A and related legal issues. Knowledge of US intelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases, and requirements to target analysis, and other intelligence collection methodologies to enable targeting activities.
Knowledge of intelligence operations and analytical principles as well as threats to Homeland Security in order to gather, analyze and evaluate intelligence information.
To Qualify for the GS-09 Level, you must possess one of the following:
Identifies a need for and knows where or how to gather information. Obtains, evaluates, organizes, and maintains information relevant to intelligence analysis.
Data/Information Processing: Formats, catalogs, filters data and information to facilitate intelligence analysis related activities.
Synthesis: Analyses, interprets, and integrates data or other information; evaluates and prioritizes alternatives; and assesses similarities and differences in data to develop findings and conclusions.
Tools and Methods understands the tools and methods needed to enable DOMEX exploitation and targeting analysis. Adapts existing tools and/or methods or employs new methodological approaches required.
