You will serve as a Supply Technician (Inventory) of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PEARL HARBOR (647th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI)
Duties
You will develop annual inventory schedule for the Air Force Stock Record Account and execute physical inventories and location surveys of account assets and other materiel/product on the Accountable Officer's records.
You will input inventory counts into the Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S) or ILS-S Mobility Asset Management program, receive computer generated inventory summaries, and review summaries for analysis.
You will conduct causative research investigations and analysis on all unresolved inventories of sensitive items, classified items, pilferable items, weapons, Communications Security, mobility, other commodities.
You will advise on ways to improve the efficiency and economy of supply operations.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized Supply Technician experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supply work which requires the knowledge of policies, procedures and techniques of inventory management in order to determine physical inventory and location requirements. I have experience utilizing automated supply and inventory databases to conduct investigations. I also have experience performing causative research for inventory discrepancies, reviewing transaction histories and receipt documents in order to determine the cause of discrepancies. Examples of specialized experience may include: 1) Plan and prepare physical inventory schedules and location survey utilizing automated supply databases; 2) Prepare necessary computer inputs by establishing opening and closing dates for physical inventories, actual physical counts, matching counts with records, performing recounts and preparing adjustment inputs; 3) Coordinate and conduct scheduled inventory, and location survey to minimize disruption of operations and ensure accuracy of inventory or location audit; 4) Conduct investigations of inventory discrepancies, researching transactions through the supply cycle.
