JOB ELEMENTS: Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of electronic theories and practices, operational capabilities, and limitations of integrated electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, optical, and mechanical systems; of such applications as electro-mechanical optical tracking systems, and associated data distribution, remote control and communications systems, including microwave and terrestrial, digital and analog computers, and digital display devices; of the technology and practices which integrate these components into a total functional system; and of mathematics including algebra and basic trigonometric functions. 2. Knowledge of safety, environmental, and security regulations, practices, and procedures. Skill in the set up and operation of computer controlled automated test equipment (ATE) and test stands, oscilloscopes (dual trace, storage, digitized), spectrum, network and distortion analyzers, frequency counters, and signal generators; in interpreting complex drawings, specifications, and schematics of complete multi-system complexes such as the complete electronics package for electro-mechanical optical tracking systems, including numerous interconnections of signal paths both between and within individual subsystems of the multi-system complex; and in troubleshooting, installing, repairing, maintaining, calibrating and integrating electronic integrated multi-systems where circuit theory must be used to understand the operation of a large number of circuits and functions, and the interaction of subsystems which create malfunctions. 3.
