About the Position: This is a vacancy for a Supervisory Information Management Specialist position located at U.S. Army Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, G6-DCS for Information Management Operations & Business Division (IMO), Business Management Branch, Scott AFB, IL.
Duties
Perform the full range of supervisory duties and responsibilities for financial management.
Review and make recommendations to SDDC and USTRANSCOM by directing the activities associated with the preparation, presentation, and execution of the DCSIM budgets.
Manage and direct the DCSIM financial management.
Provide information management acquisition and procurement for equipment, services, support, supply and maintenance contracts.
Manage and track support memorandum of agreements (MOA’s).
Manages G6 government purchase card (GPC) program.
Serves as financial manager for Brigade S6 personnel, by providing life-cycle, budget, procurement oversight, and execution for all Brigade IT requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- This position requires occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel.
