This position is located in the United States Mint, Office of the Director, Sales & Marketing Directorate, Sales Division, Sales Operations Branch (SOB), Retail and Conventions Team. The incumbent plans, organizes, and directs day-to-day operations of the United States Mint Retail and Conventions program functions.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Be sure all experience is documented in your resume by indicating place of employment, job title, length of time performing the duties, and the name and contact information for the supervisor. We must be able to verify this experience in your resume in order for you to receive credit. Specialized experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: -Experience administering and coordinating retail standard operational procedures; AND -Experience using customer or employee satisfaction data to take action and make improvements; AND -Experience leading project teams to address business or industry issues; AND -Experience monitoring performance and establishing metrics or reports based on those results; AND -Experience implementing new strategies to improve company logistics (i.e. how resources are acquired, stored); AND -Experience with managing inventory to optimize profitability. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12level for 52 weeks.
