As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as a Supervisory Team Coordinator for a Compliance and Enforcement Center within the Drug Abatement Division (AAM-800).

Duties

Reports to the Center Manager and uses assigned budget, staff, and other resources to accomplish project/program objectives; manages budget and requests additional resources, as needed; and contributes to budget planning process and projects short-term future needs. Directs the work of Inspectors, sets priorities, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and evaluates performance, conducts training, and develops employee capabilities. Subordinate employees work includes routine and complex programs/projects.

  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-J (FG/GS-14) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-I (FG/GS-13) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position to be filled, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: Experience in applying knowledge of compliance and enforcement concepts and regulations to a broad range of assignments; experience managing multiple work assignments concurrently; and experience in applying Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 120 and Title 49 CFR Part 40 as it relates to drug and alcohol enforcement programs. Examples of specialized experience should be included in your resume. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the vacancy announcement.
