About the Position: : Serves as a first line supervisor in the Metal Forming and Welding branch responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing work for machinist and welding functions.
Duties
Establish deadlines, priorities, work sequences and plans work assignments based on general work schedules.
Determine resource requirements and material necessary to accomplish work for metal fabrication components.
Assure that equipment and supplies are maintained and properly used.
Assign and explain work requirements and operation instructions.
Plan current and future work schedules, budget request and materials needed.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
