This position is located at US Mint,Mint-HQ/Office of the Dir/Financial Dir. As a Human Resources Specialist (Employee and Labor Relations), you will manage employee and labor relations issues, the drug free workplace program, performance management, benefits for the United States Mint.
Duties
As a Human Resources Specialist (Employee and Labor Relations), you will:
Design and conduct comprehensive labor-management relations and employee relations studies that provide an analysis of workforce conditions, emerging trends, and other labor-employee relations matters characterized by issues and boundaries that are extremely broad and difficult to determine in advance.
Identify and propose solutions to labor relations problems and issues that are characterized by their breadth, complexity, significance, and critical impact on agency mission and operations.
Provide authoritative advisory services to office, bureau, region, and field establishment personnel on labor management relations issues.
Qualifications

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
-Experience independently performing AND leading a labor relations program administration, including guiding and advising managers on labor-management relation and employee relation issues, as well as interpreting and applying ER/LR related polices; AND
-Experience providing guidance in the following areas: negotiations, conduct, performance, attendance and dispute resolution.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13level for 52 weeks.
