You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert, Cyberspace Maintenance Branch, Undersea Test Resources, Planning, and Coordination Division, Test and Evaluation Department at Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division, Keyport(NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties

You will prepare documentation in accordance with approved certification and accreditation processes to record compliance status with Department of Navy requirements. You will Investigate non-compliance issues and provides recommendations to effect compliance with DOD and DON requirements. You will evaluate Evaluate the security of information systems using established processes and automated tools. You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and network services, data, and capabilities. You will ensure adherence to Federal law and DOD Life Cycle regulations in the acquisition, maintenance, operation and disposal of required hardware, support services and other materials. You will identify and eliminate vulnerabilities to systems and networks that could result in a denial of service and/or the disclosure, modification, or destruction of data.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating established security systems for vulnerabilities or threats by ensuring network integrity to keep the command secure and operational.
