You will serve as a EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST in the Training Command (TRNGCMD) of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.
Duties
You will be responsible for providing quality control for managing maintenance of equipment, licensing of engineer equipment operator students, and dispatching of equipment.
You will provide technical advice for the school's training managers and supervisors on maintenance, repair parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies, components and total system packages relating to diesel driven equipment and diagnostic test equipment.
You will provide guidance to managers/supervisors on maintenance plans and the procedures for scheduling maintenance.
You will provide technical research to ensure maintenance procedures and repair parts are in accordance with Marine Corps doctrine and current industry technologies.
You will review equipment performance against standards and rated capacity and maintenance history.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector preforming quality control for equipment maintenance, licensing of engineer equipment operator students, and dispatching of equipment and must have knowledge of maintenance execution, inspection, testing, and certification of tactical ground load lifting equipment.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
