About the Position: This position provides staff support to the Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) technical publications community on a broad range of policies and procedures governing the management, preparation, printing, and distribution of equipment publications for all AMLC managed materiel.

Duties

Maintain continuous liaison and working relationship with publication activities, U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCOE), U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command and other government agencies. Prepare supplemental guidance and policies to comply with higher headquarter regulations, directives, and guidance. Serve as a writer-editor, providing staff support to the organizations technical publications community on a broad range of policies and procedures governing the management, preparation, printing, and distribution of equipment publications.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
  • The incumbent may be required to work overtime/compensatory and cyclical work cycles with possible work over holiday periods and weekends.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • Business travel of up to 15% maybe required.
