Are you a graduating student or a recent grad? Join our Pathways Recent Graduate Program! This one-year program offers professional and technical training, mentoring and developmental opportunities. You will receive training and developmental assignments designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to perform at the target position (Asset Manager, GS-12).
Position Location: Public Buildings Service, Portfolio Management Division.

The GS-09 salary range starts at $59,966 per year. Salary is determined by the location for which you are selected.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-9 level, you must demonstrate that you meet one of the following: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level of the Federal service. Specialized experience is assisting in the asset business planning and financial analysis for commercial office buildings. This experience typically includes:
Gathering data to assist in the development of operating budget and budget targets;
Reviewing financial performance data and investment alternatives;
Gathering data to assist in the development of short term and long term real property asset management strategies; and
Participating in asset business planning meetings with management officials and key stakeholders.
OR
You must possess a master's or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
OR
You may qualify based on a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
