In this position you will provide efficient and effective life-cycle operations, maintenance, and repair of infrastructure and facilities. Organizes and exercises control over subordinate employees, assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, and works closely with Project Planning, Programming and Engineering.

Responsible for all aspects of safety and compliance for the Flight.
Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of BAK-12 Aircraft Arresting Systems and Airfield Lighting Systems.
Builds/schedules preventative maintenance programs; capable with Work Management Systems, input and analysis.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities, complies with applicable Federal Regulations, Occupational Health/Safety rules/practices, security requirements.
Administers performance management program responsibilities, ensuring employee performance plans, progress reviews, and appraisals are accomplished in compliance with AF guidance and timeframes.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions located here
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is coordinating and/or leading a wide variety of complex and/or major work requirements and providing supervision, leadership and direction to subordinates by delegating specific authority to carry out their respective responsibilities while establishing employee performance standards, conducting performance appraisals, and establishing leave schedules and approval guidelines. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of governing facility management regulations and standards.
Knowledge of fire, safety and resource protection regulations and standards.
Knowledge of fund streams and how to initiate work or project requirements to affect maintenance, repair or construction of the facility.
Knowledge of basic construction and engineering principles sufficient to identify hazardous conditions in proposed renovations/additions.
Knowledge of safety, environmental, security and DEIA/EO regulations, practices, and procedures
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
