You will serve as Manager of the Current Operations, Response, and Recovery Program for the Office of Intelligence, Security, and Emergency Response, Operations Division (S60) in the Department of Transportation. This office is responsible for coordinating the departmental, preparedness, response and recovery activities in all hazard crises for the Office of Secretary, and in support of the Secretary's responsibilities under the National Response and National Disaster Recovery Frameworks.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.To qualify for the Grade 15, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equal or equivalent to the GS-14, it must include:
Experience performing disaster response and/or preparedness activities.
Experience leading emergency response operations and developing plans and policies, as mandated by the National Response and National Disaster Recovery Frameworks.
