Serves as a Visual Information Specialist at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) HQ facility. The primary purpose of this position is s to serve as a visual information specialist providing authoritative technical advice to the Agency's managers on controversial, complex, and difficult matters involving the Consumer Insight Program as expressed through social media.

Requirements

Qualifications

You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1084 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Your resume (and/or transcript if necessary) must clearly show that you have the qualifications described below. You can use experience, education, or a combination of the two to qualify. Experience: To qualify for the GS-12 your resume must clearly show that you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11. Examples of qualifying specialized experience for the GS-12 include: Utilizes modern technology and social media delivery techniques in the fields of video, sound, pictures, and art presentation. Manages projects and develops launch strategy to drive increased market research. Provides professional graphic support to the Agency's messages delivered through all media platforms to include print, social media and web. Proficient in visual and graphics applications including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Fireworks, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
