Duties
Serves as a Visual Information Specialist at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) HQ facility. The primary purpose of this position is serve as a visual information specialist providing authoritative technical advice to the Agency's managers on controversial, complex, and difficult matters involving the Consumer Insight Program as expressed through social media.
Position responsibilities include:
This position is located in the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) Headquarters, Sales, Marketing and Logistics Group, Marketing Directorate.
Develops and distributes visual media information in support of the Agency's brand marketing and business initiatives delivered through social media forums.
Responsible for artistic and innovative graphic designs for all special projects to ensure promotion of sales and participates in high level project meetings as the design subject matter expert.
Serves support to content management for web content led by the Marketing Specialist (Web).
Designs and develops multi-media marketing campaigns for global promotion of the commissary benefit.

Examples of qualifying specialized experience:
Independently manages, plans, designs, develops launch strategy to drive increased market reach and carries out visual arts projects.
Mastery of principles, methods, practices and techniques for creating professional state-of-the-art visual presentations.
Researches and analyzes capabilities and limitations of new software and equipment.
Manages milestones, deadlines and scheduling for multiple simultaneous projects.
To qualify for this position your resume and supporting documents must show that you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level , applicants applying for the GS-13 grade level must possess a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 (or equivalent) grade level.
Specialized experience may not be substituted for education at this grade level.
