This position is located in the Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, Headquarters of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of coordinating projects and initiatives relating to consumer communications and outreach, consumer financial education publications and curricula, and national outreach activities.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as implementing financial education programs to promote economic inclusion and access to credit and financial services for people with low- and moderate-incomes and other disadvantaged populations.
CG-15: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as implementing financial education programs to promote economic inclusion and access to credit and financial services for people with low- and moderate-incomes and other disadvantaged populations; and preparing and analyzing studies, reports, and proposals regarding consumer affairs and financial education, and related matters.
