The FMS I band provides direction and coordination for multiple operations and maintenance activities to include FAA and Oklahoma City Airport Trust (OCAT) project reviews, OCAT tasking coordination, service contract performance and contractor quality assurance to include preventative maintenance and trouble shooting and repair tasks.

Duties

The incumbent performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of the manager or team lead. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a project manager or lead for large projects/programs/activities.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify at the FV-I (GS/FG 13) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H(GS/FG 12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes experience in managing maintenance project and programs, management of facilities, evaluating facilities and projecting planning requirements.ALSOQUALITY RANKING FACTOR (QRF): A well-qualified candidate will demonstrate within their resume experience with all of the following:Experience serving as a contracting officer representative for construction and/or service contracts.ANDExperience managing medium and large scale projects including leading a project team and providing status briefings and reports to upper management and customers.ANDExperience managing planned and emergency facility management related activities to meet customer schedules and needs.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their work history.
