You will serve as a NURSE in the Exceptional Family Member Branch of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide specialized nursing administrative management for Navy beneficiaries enrolled in the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP).
You will collaborate with EFMP personnel and higher authority to assess and address unique healthcare needs of Navy families with exceptional family members.
You will maintain accurate records of any care plans and assessments for the EFM and any communication with the service member or their family.
You will attend EFMP team meetings and collaborate with key stakeholders to improve support for Navy families with exceptional family members.
You will uphold ethical and professional standards while delivering compassionate nursing care to Navy families in the EFMP.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing a nursing assessment, triaging level of need, providing patient education, and patient advocacy within a healthcare setting; 2) Application and adherence to established protocols and procedures; 3) Reviews medical records and accurately documents within an electronic record or database; 4) Communicates and collaborates directly with an interdisciplinary team and senior leadership.

Have successfully completed a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educational program or related medical science field.

Applicants must possess a graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time my degree was obtained. (Note - Official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools is required for individuals who graduated from foreign nursing schools).

I have passed the National Council Licensure Examination.
AND
I possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
