About the position:
This position will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation Facility located on Tyndall AFB, FL.
Duties
Including but not limited to:
Performs and/or assists with the operation and maintenance of indoor/outdoor recreational facilities within all of the outdoor recreation.
Follows established schedules of events as well as the rules and regulation to be observed.
Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure safe conditions and cleanliness.
Performs minor repairs and adjustments, issues and receives recreation equipment to include power boats, Jon boats, canoes, sail boats, kayaks, and other equipment like carpet cleaners, tents, and power tools.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- Valid Driver's License
- This is a drug testing position
- CPR and first aid certification

Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities and equipment, point of sales system, rules and procedures to include watercraft and the skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are required. Must be able to work both inside and outside in variable weather conditions.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
