About the Position: Serves as the property and supply manager for both the Mission Support Directorate, and the S&I Directorate United States Army Information Systems Engineering Command. Maintains accountability of directorate property book consisting of Government-owned equipment valued in excess of four and a half million dollars and other Government Agency owned equipment often valued in excess of fifteen million dollars.
Duties
Maintains accountability of Directorate property book.
Assists in the administration of local property management systems, programs, and policies.
Serves as the Assistant Facility Management Representative, Space Utilization Manager, and Assistant Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) Coordinator.
Coordinates, monitors, and ensure proper recovery, storage, and disposition of HAZMAT materials.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY)/business travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Government issued driver's license.
- Will be required to lift items up to 40 pounds on a recurring basis.
- Pre-employment medical examination/physical may be required.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level which includes experience performing general supply related which includes experience performing general supply related duties such as maintaining property books, conducting inventories and/or managing a supply database.
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics/Logistics Management, Supply/Supply Management, and Inventory Management, etc. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
